  1. Well, I can tell you a lot - I am not known for keeping quiet.

  3. First, let me say I will not compare the show to B5. They do a great job
  4. over there, and  Ron Thornton has no paralell among LightWave artists, in
  5. my opinion. He broke ground for us all. One way to judge an artist's
  6. importance is by looking at how they influence other artists - and Ron
  7. clearly has had more influence then anyone.

  9. In general, I think you'll be very happy with the stuff we're doing on
  10. Space - we're doing pretty much everything you're asking for. The
  11. dogfights are WW II film/Star Warsy, and lots of stuff blows up. We've
  12. done about 150 shots, and the models and texture mapping are KILLER...a
  13. great deal of detail, most of which is of course lost in the battle. The
  14. shots have a very 'model' look. We're 24 fps (a PAIN IN THE ASS), subtle
  15. nebulas, guns that turn all over the place, and stuff moves pretty fast.
  16. But in any battle between cool looking and reality, cool looking wins...
